Proof of membership required to
qualify for member rate; new or recently renewed members
should submit photocopy of either NAADAC member card or dues receipt.

Certification Application Fee
(Must be accompanied by Certification Application, see Pages 22-26 in the
Certification Manual. Applications may be faxed to 803-254-3773 or mailed to
SCAADAC 1215 Anthony Ave, Columbia, SC 29201-1701. Applications are not
considered in-process until both form and fees are received in the office.)

Recertification Fee
(Must be accompanied by Recertification Application, see Pages 36-39 in the
Certification Manual. Applications may be faxed to 803-254-3773 or mailed to
SCAADAC 1215 Anthony Ave, Columbia, SC 29201-1701. Applicants are not
considered recertified until both form and fees are received in the office.)

Late
Recertification Application Fee
(Recertification applications are due 30 days
prior to certification expiration in order to be considered
on time. After this date, payment of a late renewal fee must
accompany the recertification application fee. This fee is
applicable up to 30 days after your certification expiration
date.

Lapsed
Certification Renewal Fee
For Certifications Lapsed 31
days to 1 Year
(This fee applies in the case of
certifications that have lapsed more than 31 days but
less than 1 year. Recertifying counselors submit
recertification application, recertification fee AND the
lapsed certification renewal fee.)

Written
Examination Fee
(Written Exam Registration Form
must be received on or before
due
date by either
fax at 803-254-3773 or by mail in order for registration to be valid. Separate
fee per exam date, no refunds or
transfers and no re-scheduling once submitted to the testing service.

Oral
Examination Fee
(Separate Fee Required for each occurrence.
Written request to be scheduled for an Oral Interview must
be received by fax at 803-254-3773 or by mail in order for
registration to be valid. Consult
Oral Examination Schedule for registration deadline.)

Upgrade Fee
(Required for upgrade requests not
made at the time recertification application is submitted.
Application form and all supporting documentation
must be received in order for upgrade request to be
processed mid-certification cycle. Not available to newly
certified counselors (i.e. those within their first
certification cycle).

|
Duplicate Certificate Fee(To
replace a lost or damaged certificate.)
|
|
Extension Fee
(For currently certified
counselors only. Written extension request must be submitted
to office. Extensions may be granted only once, and
certification cycle dates remain unchanged.)

Case Study Copying Fee ($25)
For In-Process Counselors only. Note:
Case Studies are not retained by the SCAADAC Office once
candidates successfully certify. Includes postage cost to
mail to candidate. Candidates requesting a copy of
their case study should submit a request in writing to
accompany this fee payment authorizing the release of
information to themselves. Requests may faxed to
803-254-3773 or e-mailed to mstalnaker@scaadac.org.
